09-02-2008 - Been a very very long time coming, but a the first of a number of Produkt tracks is finished and is now for sale on MusicFreedom.com.

'Horselover Fat' is a song that was started by Mobius back in 2002 and has slowly evolved since. The song took major shape when Produkt was working with Massachusetts poet/wild man Jim Phelps who wrote the poem used for the spoken word and also performed it on the recording.

The words are inspired by the book 'VALIS' by Philip K. Dick and the name 'Horselover Fat' is actually a coded form of the author's name. The final version also contains backing words/vocals by Akisma.

See the player in the music section to listen to a sample of the song, and then head on over to MusicFreedom.com and grab yourself a copy. This is part of the upcoming Produkt release entitled 'Fort Dodge' and will contain tracks composed and recorded between 2002 and 2006.

And that's not all...

McQ6 has released a collection of Hypocycloid tracks (his pre-Produkt gig) on iTunes. 'Dead By December' is a dark ambient compilation of tracks that were composed and arranged between 2000 and 2004. Hypocycloid consists of Mike Fun and McQ6. If you like the eerieness of other artists like Aphex Twin, you will very likely dig this. A very good album for the increasingly dark and cold nights that are coming this autumn and winter.
